Molly Morgan
Where did you grow up? "Growing up"?! What?!
Where do you live now? Ogilvie.
How long have you worked in radio? Since February 2007 - but it would be spectacular to continue far into the future.
Family members: Paul and Denise (father and mother), Rita (half-sister), Kraken (black rat snake), Snoogans (bearded dragon), Barny (cat), Gabriel (my Yamaha Xeno trumpet).
Favorite foods: Potato leek soup, broccoli, fettuccini Alfredo, poultry, and dairy products.
Favorite movie: "Forrest Gump", "Lord Of The Rings". Science fiction, adventure, action, drama - not comedy!
Favorite books: "The World According To Garp", the "Ender" series, "Life of Pi", anything by Oscar Wilde. Biographies, science fiction, classics, transcendentalism.
Favorite TV show: I don't like TV much - or maybe it's that I don't get to watch it often. I like "Ugly Betty", history specials on channel 2, and British comedies. I was also partial to "Desperate Housewives" for awhile.
Favorite car: Space ship, ostrich, horse cart?! Perhaps a really cool-looking BMW and/or an Airstream trailer (someday).
Favorite sports teams: Sports?! Ha! (I must say the Milaca Marching Band is pretty sweet.)
Favorite vacation spots: Canada is nice...Michigan...I'd like to go to Europe someday...the east coast...west coast... I want to see the WORLD!
Songs from the best times of your life: It's hard to say what the "good" songs are "from the best times of my life", because I am still living them and plan to for a very long time! And modern pop is kind...of...scary. I am deeply enamored with Queen. I have also grown rather fond of "other classic rock". Marc Bolan from T. Rex rocks, as do David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, Queen, show tunes, Queen, and Queen.
Other pertinent information you're yearning to share: I'm excessively fond of the English language: I think it's beautiful and should be preserved with dignity - without them double negatives and improper participles. Ppl just don't kno how 2 talk good! Oscar Wilde is one of my largest infatuations. I also love music: I play trumpet and euphonium, and think they are the best instruments in any orchestra and band. Marching band has changed my life. Theater is great: I enjoy taking part in school productions. Speech IS a sport! And I do very well with that too. I love herpetology, the study of things that crawl: snakes, lizards, frogs, etc. I plan to go to college to expand my knowledge, perhaps major in history, English, science, or philosophy. A quote from Jimi Hendrix: "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens."
